Project Landscape Architect

We are seeking a Project Landscape Architect with 5 to 10 years of professional experience to assist with a multitude of tasks and responsibilities in our Albany NY location.

Our ideal candidate will have strong design, graphics, computer, and technical skills as well as the ability and desire to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects. Our work focuses on the development of award-winning parks, sports and recreation facilities, K-12 and higher education campuses, streetscapes, and multi-use trail systems. We prefer an individual who possesses excellent skills related to collaborative and thoughtful approaches for site design, reports, plans, details, and specifications. Also, the capacity and commitment to inspire and mentor our more junior level staff while participating in the delegation of work to ensure successfully meeting deadlines and deliverables.

What you’ll do:

• Landscape Design experience from concept design through construction observation
• Conceptualizing, organizing, and finalizing plans and reports 
• Strong technical skills and ability to multi-task 
• Visit job sites to perform tasks

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required
• Professional Licensure is required
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a related position is required 
• Operating knowledge of AutoCAD and digital rendering software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to travel regionally as necessary for project meetings and site visits

Salary Range is $85,000-$95,000
