Engineer I - Civil/Environmental

Weston & Sampson is currently looking for entry level Engineers for all of our office locations. The candidates will perform both field and office work within the areas of Water, Wastewater, Environmental and Geotech.

What you’ll do:

• Assist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, and specifications
• Visit job sites to perform project tasks as directed by the Senior Engineer including sample collection, drilling oversight, surveying as well as construction oversight.
• Office work may include engineering design, data tabulation and will also prepare reports and proposals.

What you will bring:

• Bachelors in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 0-3 years experience
• A positive attitude and able to communicate effectively with others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer spreadsheets, word processing software and/or CADD is helpful.

• Experience working in field setting (drilling oversight, soils logging, construction oversight)
• Some travel will be required to conduct field work (Valid driver’s license is required
