Geotechnical Engineer

Weston & Sampson is currently seeking a Geotechnical with 0-3 years of experience in our Foxborough, MA or Reading, MA office. This candidate must have a strong work ethic and who would like to be part of a growing team.   

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for monitoring geotechnical field investigations, geotechnical construction activities
• Preparation of boring logs and daily site visit reports
• Assist with preparation of proposals, technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.

What you’ll bring:

• MS Degree with a concentration in Geotechnical Engineering
• EIT or close to obtaining
• Dam safety experience is a plus
• Experience with geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, determining geotechnical engineering properties of soil/rock
• Geotechnical analyses including slope stability, settlement, and soil/structure interaction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated, responsible, dedicated, and dependable
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• AutoCAD experience
