    Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Engineer with 4 - 6 years' experience in designing private and/or public civil/site development projects to join our growing office.


    What you’ll do:

    • Duties will include preparing site development designs such as grading and drainage plans along with stormwater run-off calculations, with stormwater infrastructure design;
    • Peer review services of designs prepared by others; permitting assistance; preparation of plans, specifications and estimates; and other support services as needed.
    • Work will also include supporting other disciplines within groups such as the Facilities design group and the Landscape Architecture group.
    • Other activities will include coordinating with clients and with our in-house design teams, cost-estimating and construction administration for a variety of projects.


    What you will bring:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D computer skills.
    • Experience with HydroCAD stormwater modeling and stormwater infrastructure design a plus.
    • Experience with environmental permitting for land development, including Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act, etc.
    • Strong written and verbal communication and technical skills.
    • Licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts (or able to become licensed within 6 months) is a plus.
    • Must have valid driver's license.
