We are currently seeking an entry-level civil or environmental engineer with a strong work ethic who would like to be part of our team. Successful candidates need to be interested in the planning, study, design, and construction of water supply, storage, distribution, and treatment systems including computer-aided analyses of water distribution systems and preparation of plans and specifications for permitting and construction. The ideal candidate would be a confident, self-motivated, articulate person with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. Experience with water hydraulics, treatment, modeling, AutoCAD and/or ARCGIS is a plus. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or ability to pass exam within the first six months of employment is preferred.
Applicant must be able to handle flexible work load, diverse project files, and working well with multiple staff members. Candidates will need to be able to make day trips out to sites throughout New England 2-10 times per month (valid driver’s license required).
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Engineering
· Either in possession of or pursuing EIT or PE licensure status
· Experience with AutoCAD
· Strong Writing and Verbal Communication Skills
· 0-4 years of experience
Considered Favorable, but not mandatory:
· Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Revit
· Prior experience or coursework doing water resources, water treatment, water distribution, hydraulics, or related civil engineering design and construction work
· Experience with ArcGIS
