    Responsibilities

    Weston & Sampson is looking for a Project Engineer with 3 to 10 years of experience in the evaluation, design and construction of municipal wastewater collection systems and/or processes.  The selected individual will assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications and will occasionally visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation. 

     

    The office work may include engineering design, data tabulation, management and analysis, hydraulic modeling and preparing technical reports and proposals.  The selected individual should expect to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires but an emphasis will be placed on storm water system related projects and regulatory compliance.  

    Qualifications

    Job requirements include:

     

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ArcGIS and MS Office 
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering is required. MS in Civil/Environmental
    • EIT certification preferred
    • Some overtime may be necessary
    • Local travel between our offices in Peabody, Foxboro, Worcester and Manchester NH are required
    • Valid driver’s license is required
