    Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly organized and focused Project Accountant with three (3) or more years’ experience. Qualified candidate must have basic knowledge of accounting principles. Must have experience in client account resolution and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

     

    Responsibilities will include:  

    • Billing, collections of outstanding invoices, setting up projects in accounting system
    • Revenue Recognition/Analysis
    • Maintain project related records, track contracts and change orders
    • Review and close out projects upon completion
    • Must be able to handle high volume of billing with numerous project managers
    • Contacting clients and resolving billing discrepancies
    • Reduce DSO by billing and collecting in a timely manner
    • Effectively communicate with project managers and principals
    • Provide information as required for management reporting
    • Strong service orientation
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Perform other ad hoc assignments

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
    • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated and have ability to maintain a positive working relationship with internal and external staff/clients.
    • Experience in construction and/or engineering industry a plus.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites and have ability to learn new software.
    • Experience with Deltek Vision a plus.
