    Our Wastewater Project Managers:

    • Supervise and lead project teams to perform engineering studies and designs using recognized industry standards and regulatory-compliant approaches.
    • Supervise and lead project teams to perform field evaluation and assessment of existing facilities, including collection systems, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
    • Support the procurement of construction services, including support and evaluation of public bidding, contract execution, and construction administration.
    • Supervise, train, and mentor junior engineering staff.
    • Pursue new work opportunities through established client relationships, market sector awareness, and competitive pursuits, including participation in proposal development and interviews / presentations.
    • Participate in professional organizations and technical committees.
    • Develop and define project scope, schedule, and fee; determine work procedures, staffing, and sub-consultant assignments.
    • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams
    • Establish and develop external teaming relationships
    • Build and maintain strong business metrics for their Teams
    • This position is open to any of our Massachusetts locations.


    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.  Master’s  degree preferred.
    • 10 to 20 years of relevant experience working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles, including:
    • Evaluation, study, and design of municipal wastewater infrastructure, specifically including: CSO Separation, Modelling, Large Diameter Pipe Design, Urban Construction, I/I and SSES Projects, Trenchless Rehabilitation Design, Asset Management, and Pump Station Hydraulics and Design.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of Federal and State Regulations, Permitting and typical industry funding sources.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects and clients, along with the associated administrative, budgetary, and financial tracking elements of projects. 
    • Highly effective with written and verbal communication, including Public Presentations.
    • Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, team leadership, and mentoring.
    • Possessing high ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work, with a commitment to teamwork, respect and integrity.
    • A Client focused seller/doer with strong business development skills and existing industry relationships.
