Responsibilities

Weston & Sampson is seeking an Engineer with 7-10 years’ experience with civil, site development, and facility related engineering experience to join our growing office. 

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, a Master’s degree is a plus.  Experience with HydroCAD stormwater modeling and stormwater infrastructure design is required.  Strong communication and technical skills are also required.  

Qualifications

Duties will include:

  • Assisting and guiding junior level engineers with preparing site development designs such as grading and drainage plans along with stormwater run-off calculations, with stormwater infrastructure design.
  • Supporting our Facilities design group on Department of Public Works and Transit Facility related projects.
  • Other activities will include coordinating with the client and our in house design team, cost-estimating, preparing feasibility studies, and construction administration for a variety of facility projects.
  • PE is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

 

This position offers exposure to a wide range of design disciplines including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical.
