The Drinking Water Team Leader will work in our Water Program and will be responsible for managing a team of water system engineers to plan, design and provide construction services for treatment facilities including new facilities and renovations.  He/she will have an in-depth knowledge of drinking water quality and treatment processes and will also be able to manage complex, multi-disciplined projects to successful completion.  He/she possesses strong technical skills as well as project management, leadership, client relations, business development, financial and personnel management skills. We are looking for a person to lead this initiative within Weston & Sampson and who is viewed as a skilled professional within the industry. This positon is open to any of our locations in New England and NY. 



Education, Skills and Experience:

  • 10 to 20 years of relevant progressive experience in area of expertise including office and field work.
  • Demonstrated technical and business expertise in the specific practice of drinking water.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment and collaborate well with others and maintain client realationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively organize, manage and coordinate multiple assignments.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, to work cooperatively with others and, when necessary, work overtime and weekends.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in appropriate civil/environmental engineering. Advanced post-graduate degrees are preferred.
  • Professional registration/license in profession is required (i.e. PE).
  • Drivers’ license and willingness to travel including by air.
  • Demonstrated experience and success in leading a team on multiple projects.
